Story Name: Teddy in a BOTTLE!
From: Buffy & David Allen

My Jack Russell Story:

"Teddy" became a part of the Allen family at 7 weeks this past summer of 1997. Teddy is a king as he has at least an acre of fenced yard to roam when my husband and I leave for work. Recently, we had some painting done and the workmen used my gardening spray bottles as funnels cutting the bottoms out. One afternoon I returned home from work early (thank goodness) missing my precious new baby to find this white ball curled up in the yard. I called out to him and he didn't take off through the yard 100mph as usual. In fact he didn't move at all. When I got up to him and touched his back he muffled from inside the bottle gasping for air. Teddy had managed to get his entire head & body in the spray bottle and I could not pull him out without cutting it open. He cried and wailed for at least 30 minutes and it was then that I realized what kind of creature this spur of the moment terrier we had purchased on a lazy July afternoon in Alabama was really all about. Who knows what would have happened if I hadn't come home early to see my "Teddy BEAR"!
