Spike came into our lives a a 2-month-old pup. We bought him from a breeder after first reading about JRTs. The wife and I decided to take the plunge. He has shown many of the characteristics of a JRT; seeks companionship, love, lively, sometimes stubborn and always wanting to play bell with us. He's 3 1/2 months now and growing well and healthy. The dog's brought joy into our lives.
Let's hope JRTs don't lost ever loose their fine qualities as hunting dogs first of all.
